You can now view and manage your limits for Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) using AWS Service Quotas.
Amazon EFS provides a simple, scalable, fully managed elastic NFS file system for use with AWS Cloud services and on-premises resources. It is built to scale on demand to petabytes without disrupting applications, growing and shrinking automatically as you add and remove files, eliminating the need to provision and manage capacity to accommodate growth.
With AWS Service Quotas, you can view and manage your quotas easily and at scale as your AWS workloads grow. Quotas, also referred to as limits, are the maximum number of resources that you can create in an AWS account. You can now view your EFS limits and request increases for your account-level EFS limits using Service Quotas via the AWS console, AWS APIs and the AWS CLI. AWS Service Quotas is available at no additional charge.
You can view and manage your Amazon EFS limits through AWS Service Quotas in all commercial AWS regions where EFS is available. For Amazon EFS regional availability, see the AWS Region Table. Explore Amazon EFS and Service Quotas in the AWS console. To learn more about Service Quotas, review the Service Quotas Blog.
