Amazon Transcribe is an automatic speech recognition (ASR) service that makes it easy for you to add speech-to-text capabilities to your applications. Starting today, you can assign tags to easily organize, track, or control access your resources. This can be used to allocate costs or get detailed billing reports across your Transcribe jobs. You can attach tags to resources such as transcription jobs, vocabulary, vocabulary filter, and custom language models within Transcribe.
Each tag consists of a customer-defined key and an optional value that makes it easy to manage, search, and filter resources. For example, you can set key as “Department” and value as “Sales” or “Legal” to get billing report for those departments. You can also use tags to constrain IAM permissions and access to specific resources based on the environment, applications, or projects. Support for resource tagging is available in all AWS Regions that support Amazon Transcribe. To learn more about how to create and use tags, visit Amazon Transcribe documentation. See AWS Tagging Strategies for general best practices for using tags with AWS resources.
