AWS Incident Detection and Response now supports ingestion of events from third party Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools via Amazon EventBridge. AWS Incident Detection and Response offers AWS Enterprise Support customers proactive monitoring and incident management to increase workload resiliency and accelerate recovery from critical incidents.
With this feature release, you can now send events directly to AWS Incident Detection and Response using Amazon EventBridge. The feature also supports ingestion of events from multiple APM tools for the same application and eliminates the need to replicate metrics on Amazon CloudWatch to onboard a workload. You maintain control of the details you share with AWS Incident Detection and Response.
AWS Incident Detection and Response is available in English for workloads hosted in the following regions: US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (N. California), Canada (Central), Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Paris), Europe (Stockholm), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Sydney), South America (Sao Paulo).
AWS Incident Detection and Response is available to AWS Enterprise Support customers for an additional fee, and is included for AWS Managed Services customers with AWS Enterprise Support. You can reach out to your Technical Account Manager to setup your workload on the service. For more information about this feature visit the AWS Incident Detection and Response User Guide.
