Starting today, you can use AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) to centrally view and manage migrations to multiple accounts via a single designated account. Designed for large organizations, this new feature uses AWS Organizations to provide visibility and inventory management capabilities directly from the AWS Application Migration Service console.
AWS Application Migration Service automates the conversion of your source servers to run natively on AWS with optional modernization features. With this new feature, you can designate an account to manage the migration for the entire organization, and view and manage your inventory across your accounts.
AWS Application Migration Service now also supports stopping, starting, pausing, and resuming data replication, as well as installing the AWS Replication Agent at a “stopped” state. In addition, you can now import and export your source environment inventory list from and to a CSV file on your local disk. Additional new features include support for 4 new preconfigured application modernization actions: enabling Amazon Inspector, validating disk space, ATSS time sync setting for Linux servers, and verifying correct HTTP/HTTPS request response.
Starting today, these features are available in all of the AWS Regions where AWS Application Migration Service is available. Access the AWS Regional Services List for the most up-to-date availability information.
