AWS Week in Review – June 3, 2013

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, June 3	The AWS Ruby Blog talked about some new Gems that simplify Working With Regions. The new AWS PHP Blog talked about Transferring Files to and From Amazon S3.
Tuesday, June 4	We expanded the AWS Region in Tokyo with by adding more EC2 instance types and Amazon Redshift.
Wednesday, June 5	We recognized the progress of Amazon RDS – 3.5 years, 3 Engines, 9 Regions, 50+ Features and Tens of Thousands of Customers.
Thursday, June 6	We published an AWS Case Study for 6Wunderkinder of Berlin. We launched a new version of the CloudFormer tool for AWS CloudFormation. The AWS Mobile Blog talked about Downloading Large Files from Amazon S3 with the AWS SDK for iOS.
Friday, June 7	This week AWS Marketplace added new products including Aspera and BioPerl. The AWS Ruby Blog showed how to Work With Multiple Regions.
