Containers
Serverless containers at AWS re:Invent 2024
AWS re:Invent is the premier learning conference hosted by AWS for the global cloud computing community. This year the Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) and AWS Fargate teams will share the latest trends, innovations, best practices, and tips to help you increase productivity, optimize costs, and enhance business agility. Join us in Las Vegas from December 2 through December 6, 2024.
Visit the AWS Serverless kiosk in the Expo Hall or the AWS Modern Applications and Open Source Zone to ask our experts questions about building modern applications on AWS, watch demonstrations, and meet with our open source teams. Stop by and say hello!
Sessions to attend
Amazon ECS and AWS Fargate sessions are part of the SVS – Serverless Compute & Containers track this year. Don’t miss our leadership sessions, including “Celebrating 10 years of pioneering serverless and containers” (SVS211) and “Compute innovation for any application, anywhere” (CMP215). Highlights on the track this year include the “Unleashing the power of Amazon ECS for platform teams” (SVS330) featuring Fannie Mae’s journey to serverless containers, “Navigating the cloud compute landscape with Amazon ECS” (SVS327), and “Simplifying multi-tenancy with SaaS applications on AWS Fargate” (SVS329). Click on the session IDs to reserve your seats.
As in previous years, the conference offers a variety of session formats:
- Breakout sessions: Lecture-style presentations delivered by AWS experts, builders, and customers.
- Chalk talks: Interactive sessions led by experts on a variety of topics. Share your own experiences and feedback.
- Workshops: Hands-on learning sessions designed to help you explore new technologies. Bring your own laptop.
- Builder sessions: Smaller sessions led by AWS experts where you’ll build a project on your own laptop.
- Lightning talks: Located in the Expo Hall, these 20-minute focused presentations are dedicated to specific customer stories, service demos, or AWS Partner offerings.
