Pilar Torres is head of public sector, Amazon Web Services, Spain and Portugal. Her professional career has always been linked to the IT sector, and prior to joining Amazon she developed his professional career at IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and Microsoft in multiple leading roles in Iberia and EMEA. Pilar Torres is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, a Master in Economics and Innovation Management from the UPM, UAM, and UCM and a 2018 UPM STEAM Woman Award. --- Pilar Torres es máxima responsable de Sector Público en Amazon Web Services para España y Portugal. Su trayectoria profesional ha estado siempre ligada al sector de las Tecnologías de la Información, y previamente a su incorporación a Amazon ha desarrollado su carrera profesional en IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, y Microsoft en distintas funciones ejecutivas en Iberia y en EMEA. Pilar Torres es Ingeniera Industrial por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Master en Economía y Gestión de la Innovación por la UPM, UAM y UCM y premio Mujer STEAM UPM 2018.
