Alba is a Software Engineer and Deployment Specialist at LuxQuanta, focusing on the development of Technical Collaborations with a strong interest in monitoring and cloud services. Before joining LuxQuanta, Alba actively worked on the R&D of the scientific-technological data center “Port d'Informació Científica (PIC)” by developing HPC and storage integration projects. During her tenure at CERN, she formed part of the team for the ESCAPE project, gaining significant further expertise in data management and R&D activities, fostering a deep passion for DevOps methodology and virtualization and containerization technologies. Alba supports her professional career with a degree in Computer Science and a master's in Cybersecurity and Data Privacy. She realized how her passions for research and development within international projects, infrastructure management, and telecommunications systems were perfectly aligned in the captivating realm of Quantum Networking. This realization led her to join LuxQuanta as a member of the Software team with the determination to contribute to the deployment of QKD networks worldwide.
