Sebastian Grimberg is a Senior Research Scientist at the AWS Center for Quantum Computing. He works on the development of modeling and numerical simulation tools for the design of quantum hardware. Sebastian holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, where he studied model order reduction methods for problems in computational mechanics.

A microwave package encloses the quantum processor. The packaging is designed to shield the qubits from environmental noise while enabling communication with the control system.

AWS releases open-source software Palace for cloud-based electromagnetics simulations of quantum computing hardware
