In Case You Missed It – An Evening with Female Startup Founders

In support of the 2019 Grace Hopper Celebration, AWS partnered with revolutionary accelerator Y Combinator and Elpha, a startup professional network for women in tech, to host an evening reception for female startup founders. Over 80 female leaders were in attendance for an evening of networking and idea sharing. Jory Des Jardins, AWS’ Head of Global Startup Marketing, kicked off the evening with a formal welcome to guests on behalf of AWS. Kat Manalac, Partner for Y Combinator then talked about the accelerator’s funding model for startups and introduced Cadran Cowansage, CEO and Co-Founder of Elpha, who spoke about the startup’s journey in development with Y Combinator. The evening concluded with more time for guests to network and build relationships with other inspirational female leaders in the startup community.
