Join us for the final episode of AWS Power Hour: Cloud Practitioner
It’s hard to believe, but the final week of AWS Power Hour: Cloud Practitioner is nearly here! It’s not too late to catch up on the previous episodes on demand, at your convenience. Then, join us next week for the final episode of the season.
We offer two live, 60-minute shows each week: Mondays at 7:30 a.m. PT and Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. PT. As a friendly reminder, the content covered in each version is roughly the same but presented by a different host. Watch one or both—your choice!
Episode five review
This week, our hosts focused on the AWS Well-Architected Framework. This framework helps you build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructures for your applications and workloads. And as usual, we took your questions during AWS Power Hour: Q&A, which livestreams 30 minutes before each AWS Power Hour: Cloud Practitioner as an open-forum.
If you have questions about the content covered in episode five, join either host for next week’s AWS Power Hour: Q&A. The hosts will also choose a couple of examples of weekly homework to review. A reminder about your homework from episode five:
- Draw a globally distributed and highly available web application across two AWS Regions.
- Post the drawing on Twitter or LinkedIn using #AWSPowerHourHW and tag your host (Jonathan or Blaine).
Sneak peek: episode six
Next week is our final episode, so we’ll tie together everything from the previous episodes. We’ll walk you through two scenarios: first, a workload migration from on-premises to cloud, and second, building a cloud-native workload. Because this episode brings together concepts from the entire series, it will serve as a useful review of the key concepts covered so far. We’ll also review the key exam preparation resources available so you can schedule your AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam with confidence.
Resource roundup
Each Friday during the show’s season, we provide an updated roundup of resources like free labs, documentation, practice questions, and more to help you with your AWS Cloud learning journey. In addition to our weekly email, you can access resources directly from our new resources page.
Don’t miss episode six on November 16 and November 19
Join the livestream to interact, ask real-time questions, and get practical advice about preparing for your AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, or watch the season’s recorded episodes on Twitch whenever it’s convenient for you.
