Announcing New Direct Connect Locations in Munich, Prague, Berlin, and Zurich
We are thrilled to announce new AWS Direct Connect locations. The new locations are Munich, Germany, Berlin, Germany, Prague, Czech Republic, and Zurich, Switzerland.
Every AWS region has two DX locations supporting it. Customers that want to build resiliency into their networking can do that buy connecting to multiple locations supporting a region.
You can use AWS Direct Connect to create a dedicated network connection from your datacenter, office, or colocation environment to AWS. Connections are always made to a particular Direct Connect location, and can run at either 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps, or work with a partner to connect at speeds less than 1G.
