AWS Transform is an agentic AI service designed to help with modernization of full-stack Windows, mainframe, VMware workloads, as well as custom transformations of code, APIs, frameworks and more. It is designed to deploy AI agents to assist with tasks like assessments, code analysis, refactoring, decomposition, dependency mapping, validation, and transformation planning, to support project timelines. AWS Transform helps organizations to modernize applications while maintaining quality and control. Its natural language chat experience and shared workspaces are designed for cross-organizational and cross-functional team collaboration.

AWS Transform offers out-of-the-box transformation definitions for common use cases, such as Java, Node.js and Python upgrades. It also allows customers to create custom transformations.
