Session level guide
Whether you are new to AWS or an experienced user, you can learn something new at AWS Innovate. This event is designed to help you develop the right skills to create new insights, enable new efficiencies, and make more accurate decisions.
Foundational sessions
Level 100 sessions are designed to give an overview or introduction to AWS services. These sessions focus on features, functions, and benefits, with content that highlights basic use cases and showcases how a service or feature can be used in your applications and how it can be integrated with other services.
Intermediate sessions
Level 200 sessions assume a general knowledge of the topic and provide a technical deeper dive into a service or use case. Advanced sessions
Level 300 sessions assume proficiency of the topic and typically cover in-depth architecture, development, deployment, and migration examples. Meet the keynote speakers

Dr Asa Kalavade, Vice President, Migration & Modernization, AWS
Asa leads AWS Transform, helping customers migrate and modernize their infrastructure, applications, and code. Previously, she led the AWS go-to-market tools transformation, incorporating generative AI capabilities. She also managed hybrid storage and data transfer services. Before joining AWS in 2016, Asa founded two venture-backed startups and remains active in mentoring Boston startups. She holds a PhD in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley and over 40 patents.

Olivier Klein, Chief Technologist, APJ, AWS
As AWS Chief Technologist for Asia-Pacific, Olivier brings 20+ years of experience across APAC and Europe, advising customers on technical strategies, security, and transformation practices. His expertise spans cloud architecture, AI/ML, platform engineering, and emerging technologies. He holds an M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Trier.

Marzuki Kamaruzaman, General Manager, Enterprise Architecture, PETRONAS
A 20+ year PETRONAS veteran, Marzuki plays a pivotal role in elevating Enterprise Architecture practice group-wide, implementing governance processes and driving cloud transformation. His extensive experience spans Oil & Gas digital transformation, upstream/downstream operations, and major technology implementations. Marzuki holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
