Plan your schedule

Sessions run across multiple Las Vegas properties, so check where yours are held and allow 30 to 45 minutes between venues. Favorite sessions in the event catalog or the mobile app, then reserve seats for the ones you can’t miss. Seats in popular sessions are limited.

Your travel checklist

  • Attendee photo. Upload it in the registration portal to save time at badge pickup.
  • Broken-in shoes, plus a second pair. You’ll walk between venues every day.
  • Layers. You’ll move between indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Portable charger. You’ll need the app for schedules, maps, and shuttle times, so keep your phone charged.
  • Refillable water bottle, lip balm, and lotion. Las Vegas air is very dry.
  • Snacks. Sessions and travel time can run past a meal.
  • Room for swag. Leave space for everything you collect along the way.

Getting oriented on day one

Pick up your badge on Sunday or Monday at Harry Reid International Airport in terminals T1 or T3, at the MGM Grand, or at The Venetian. Bring a government-issued ID, and wear your badge all week. You’ll need it for sessions and re:Invent transportation.

AWS re:Invent transportation helps you get between venues. Shuttles and the monorail are complimentary with a valid badge. The mobile app has schedules, maps, shuttle times, and an AI assistant, so download it before you arrive. Need directions between venues? Follow the on-site signage and the app.

Every venue has a Content Hub, so wherever your day takes you, there’s more to learn close by. Each hub runs silent breakout sessions and simulcasts, and depending on the venue, you may also find self-paced labs, talks from builders, or meetups.

re:Invent is built to be welcoming. First-timers and longtime attendees learn side by side, and peers learn from each other in collaborative environments. Accessibility services and the Code of Conduct are here to ensure everyone can fully participate and feel respected throughout the week.

Making the most of it

Start with a keynote to hear what launched. Then attend the breakout session, chalk talk, or workshop on that launch to learn how it works and how to use it. Leading a team? Keynotes and executive meetups cover direction and decisions.

The Expo is where sponsors and 450+ AWS Partners show their products. At the Customer Showcase, customers share real implementations and results alongside the people who built them. If you’re comparing options, visit both.
Explore the Expo

People come to re:Invent from every industry, and plenty of them are working through problems like yours. Join a meetup, stop by a community space, or start a conversation in the hallway between sessions.

There's more to the week than sessions. Between sessions and after-hours, events range from game nights to the re:Invent Run to the re:Play party, and much more.

Bring it home

With so many sessions running at the same time, you choose which to catch live and which to watch later. Recordings of keynotes and breakout sessions are available on demand after the event, along with presentation PDFs, so you can catch up on what you missed and revisit what you want to hear again. If your team is coming, split up the sessions and bring back more of what you learn. Stay tuned for details on how to access the recordings.

Your registration includes a certification discount. Registered attendees get 50% off AWS Certification exams. Terms and conditions apply.
