WithSecure is a global cybersecurity company that designs, builds, and operates security services for organizations worldwide. As AI became increasingly important to security operations, WithSecure wanted to move quickly—without compromising security, privacy, or architectural robustness.
As a security company, WithSecure needed confidence that new AI capabilities would be built using proven security best practices from day one. Building custom AI infrastructure and guardrails would have slowed development and increased operational overhead.
Designing and Deploying AI Securely on AWS
WithSecure is all in on AWS and works closely with AWS teams as it designs, builds, and operates its services. AWS experts participate in architectural and technical discussions, providing guidance on security models and best practices.
To accelerate development, WithSecure used AWS Bedrock to build its AI assistant, Luminen. Managed access to foundation models allowed teams to focus on product capabilities and security use cases instead of infrastructure. Early enablement through AWS Immersion Days helped WithSecure plan adoption as soon as Bedrock became available.
Throughout development, WithSecure worked closely with its AWS Technical Account Manager and the AWS Support team. Access to deep technical expertise helped validate designs, apply security best practices, and move faster with confidence.
WithSecure also invested in enablement through AWS Skill Builder, upskilling engineering teams across multiple countries. This helped teams quickly adopt new AWS features and apply them securely in production.
The result was a faster path from idea to production, with built-in security and scalability guardrails that reduced engineering overhead and supported rapid growth.
