Discover how LocalStack, a Docker-based emulation of Amazon Web Services, enables efficient development and testing without the need for internet connectivity, AWS costs, or complex mocking. This presentation will showcase real-world examples, including its use in building Artlist's Backstage—a platform for asset submissions—leveraging AWS services like S3, SNS, and SQS. Learn how LocalStack facilitates local development, automated testing, and high-confidence deployments through practical use cases and success stories.

The Autify engineering team designed the second version of the AWS architecture to support a Cellular Architecture Strategy, ensuring scalability, modularity, and efficiency in cloud infrastructure. This presentation will explain why we adopted this strategy and how we implemented it on top of AWS. It covers many topics related to Cellular Architecture in AWS, including the background behind the second version of the architecture, multiple AWS account management with AWS Organizations and Control Tower, a unit of AWS account, and specific cross-cell infra considerations with Route 53 and Amazon SES.
