What is this workshop?
A 3.5-hour, hands-on technical workshop where you'll watch production-grade clinical AI architectures built live in the AWS console and interact with them from your phone. No AWS account required.
Three demo modules cover the full stack of health AI challenges: clinical documentation, medical imaging, and interoperability. Every module connects back to a HIPAA/SOC-2 compliance thread that runs throughout the entire session, so you leave with architectures that are audit-ready from day one.
What you'll see built live:
- Clinical AI Assistant: Voice-to-SOAP automation using Transcribe Medical and Amazon Bedrock, with an Australian reference architecture for data sovereignty
- Imaging AI + MLOps: A 1GB CT scan streamed to a mobile browser at 60fps via AWS HealthImaging, with SageMaker Pipelines triggering automated model retraining
- FHIR Integration Pipeline: Unstructured clinical emails converted into FHIR-compliant records using Step Functions, HealthLake, and Amazon SES 16+ AWS services demonstrated across the three modules.
