Snap uses Kubernetes to solve the problems of managing a large set of services, and EKS is helping to run over 2 million transactions per second. Through EKS and ECR, Snap has realized a 77% reduction in developer effort for launching new microservices.

Vanguard
We chose the solution of Amazon ECS and AWS Fargate for a variety of reasons: It’s a fully distributed architecture, it enables DevSecOps patterns, was backwards compatible with our legacy container orchestration platform, is fully automated and automatable, is secure by default, is cost effective, and enables NoOps patterns.
Using Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate, we've gone from weekly deployments to deployments that we do multiple times a day, and from what used to be hours of at least two engineers' time, we've been able to shave that down to several minutes.
Skylar Graika, Senior Principal Software Engineer, Smartsheet
Hootsuite
Using Amazon EKS, we were able to reduce our Amazon EC2 footprint from over 2,000 instances to less than 500 in a few years. We have been able to build an enterprise-scale managed Kubernetes platform to support our business and drive innovation.
Lei Guo, Senior Director of Platform and Infrastructure, Hootsuite
Vodafone
At Vodafone Digital UK, we initially built our service containers to run on AWS using the Amazon ECS orchestration layer on Amazon EC2. Once our platform started growing and experiencing scaling challenges, the Digital Architects looked at AWS Fargate to mitigate the growing pains and improve our platform stability...by removing the complexity of infrastructure management and shifting some responsibilities like OS hardening and patching onto AWS, we can reduce the amount of resources we spend on these tasks and instead focus on adding value to our Vodafone customers.
Maria Farrugia, Head of Digital Architecture, Vodafone UK

Collaboration.Ai, a leader in AI-driven innovation management software, sought to expand into the US federal government sector, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD), with its end-to-end CrowdVector innovation management platform. Obtaining the required Authority to Operate (ATO) on DoD networks—a complex, lengthy, and costly process—posed a significant challenge for the startup. By engaging with AWS Partner Second Front, a member of the AWS Global Security & Compliance Acceleration (GSCA) program and using its Game Warden DevSecOps platform on AWS GovCloud (US), Collaboration.Ai secured a Certificate to Field (CTF) for DoD networks in less than 90 days. The deployment was accelerated further by using a custom registry of secure, minimal container images from AWS Partner Chainguard. This approach saved nearly two years of work and $2 million in compliance costs, swiftly opening access to the US federal government market.
Using AWS, Altruist maintains system stability and security alongside efficiency-driving tools that financial advisors depend on to deliver better outcomes to more clients at lower costs.

As its self-managed clusters grew in size and complexity, software company Ada Support Inc. (Ada) significantly increased operational efficiency by migrating to Amazon EKS. Ada helps organizations resolve more customer inquiries with less effort using its customer-service-automation solution that is powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The company sought fully managed services to off-load the heavy lifting and reduce downtime for customers during upgrades. Using Amazon EKS, Ada empowers its engineers to focus less on maintenance and more on company improvements, such as increasing the deployment velocity by 70 percent and developing agents that are powered by generative AI.
