AWS updated the AWS Customer Agreement on January 14, 2022. 

This update addresses that, beginning on February 1, 2022, customers located in Canada using the credit card payment method will contract with our Canada based AWS Contracting Party, called Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. (a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc), and customers located in Singapore using the credit card payment method will contract with our Singapore based AWS Contracting Party, called Amazon Web Services Singapore Private Limited (a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc).

We also made changes to reflect the current mailing address for Amazon Web Services New Zealand Limited and for Amazon Web Services Korea LLC in Section 14.

AWS updated the AWS Customer Agreement on June 28, 2017.

In this update we are improving the terms of the AWS Customer Agreement related to intellectual property rights. These changes include offering uncapped IP infringement protection and removing the patent non-assert clause. AWS customers do not need to take any action to get the benefit of the updates to the online AWS Customer Agreement. The updates took effect on June 28, 2017, and apply to all customers who use the Services under the online AWS Customer Agreement.

We may modify this Agreement (including any Policies) at any time by posting a revised version on the AWS Site or by otherwise notifying you in accordance with Section 13.7; provided, however, that we will provide at least 90 days advance notice in accordance with Section 13.7 for adverse changes to any Service Level Agreement. Subject to the 90-day advance notice requirement with respect to adverse changes to Service Level Agreements, the modified terms will become effective upon posting or, if we notify you by email, as stated in the email message. By continuing to use the Service Offerings after the effective date of any modifications to this Agreement, you agree to be bound by the modified terms. It is your responsibility to check the AWS Site regularly for modifications to this Agreement. We last modified this Agreement on the date listed at the end of this Agreement.

March 15, 2012 version:
