To spur research in responsible use, AWS provides research grants through Amazon Research Awards and the joint Amazon and National Science Foundation Fairness in AI Grants program.
Diversity, equity and Inclusion
We take a people-centric approach to educating the next generation of AI leaders with programs like the AI & ML Scholarship program and We Power Tech to increase access to hands-on learning, scholarships, and mentorship for underserved or underrepresented in tech.
Public policy
Supporting the development of effective risk-based regulatory frameworks for AI that protects civil rights, while allowing for continued innovation. Through engagements with the White House and UN, among others, we are committed to sharing our knowledge and expertise to advance the responsible and secure use of AI.
