Take advantage of the AWS Free Tier
At AWS there are a number of tools to put you in the driver’s seat of your cloud journey, but today we wanted to discuss one in particular: the AWS Free Tier. With the Free Tier, you can use and explore more than 100 services free of charge up to specified limits for each service.
You don’t have to qualify to enjoy the Free Tier. Whether you’re a student, an entrepreneur, a small businesses, or a Fortune 500 company, you’re welcome to sign up. Usage isn’t limited to a specific use case. It’s simply a way to help you get started with free usage tiers for certain services. If you have a new idea that you’d like to launch or if you have an existing application you want to run in the cloud, this is a great way to get started for free.
It’s important to note that there are three different types of offerings, and if your application use exceeds the free tier limits, you simply pay standard, pay-as-you-go service rates. (Some restrictions apply, so be sure to see offer terms for details.)
