Launch Your Start-up at AWS re:Invent

We will have plenty of content and activities for start-ups at this year’s AWS re:Invent conference.

In addition to the training bootcamps that will give you the technical knowledge needed to build your AWS-powered startup, we have a wide variety of sessions to help you learn about AWS and to hear how your peers are making use of it in their own start-ups. As I write this, 58 of the sessions are intended specifically for start-ups.

We have created a special opportunity for start-ups to launch at re:Invent. My colleague Werner Vogels will be the emcee and a good time will be had by all.

We’re looking for AWS-powered start-ups that are currently in stealth mode, or for existing AWS-powered start-ups that are prepared to launch a major feature. You will have the opportunity to launch to an audience comprised of tech-savvy AWS customers, venture capitalists, AWS executives, and members of the press.

Last year’s launch event was a big success, with launches from Mortar Data, Animoto, and thislife:

If you qualify and would like to apply to launch this year, please send an email to AWSStartupLaunch@amazon.com  with 100 words or less on each of the items below:

  1. Team Background – Size, brief bios on each member.
  2. AWS Products – List of the AWS products that you use.
  3. Value Prop – What makes your company and your product unique?
  4. Target – What is the target market and audience for your product?

You have until 5:00 PM (PT) on October 4th to submit your entry.
