AWS News Blog

Quick Picks for Friday

Voiced by Polly

I use a handful of web and blog search engines which produce RSS feeds that I monitor to find interesting developments for this blog. Here are a few recent findings:

  • There’s a new version of Ruby/Amazon.
  • Brian Krow is looking at S3 and Jungledisk, and wondering where he left his tape drive.
  • David Aiken is having fun with Amazon S3 and the Windows PowerShell.
  • Keith Bohanna is crying with happiness now that he’s found Jungle Disk.
  • Dion Hinchcliffe says that the Amazon Web Services are a good example of a WOA, or Web-Oriented Architecture.
  • The Beloved Ruby Cookbook shows how to use Ruby to get Amazon data.
  • Finally, Fabrice shows how to use Microsoft’s upcoming LINQ technology to access Amazon data.

And that’s a wrap! Have a good weekend, everyone.
