With 13 years of experience at AWS, he has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions, scaling performance, and driving growth across multiple segments and verticals. Steven Jones is passionate about making AWS the most customer-centric cloud platform and the best place to run business-critical workloads. He has been the driving force behind the SAP technical strategy at AWS, bringing to market a number of industry firsts, such as general support for SAP workloads on a hyper-scale platform and cloud-native infrastructure to support high-memory SAP HANA workloads. He also oversees the VMware business, which enables customers to seamlessly migrate and extend their VMware-based environments to AWS. He leverages his skills in creative ideation, abstraction, and system performance to create value for customers, partners, and AWS.
