Learn how to become an AWS AppFabric supported application

On average, today’s organizations use over 100 software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications. In order to keep SaaS data secure, IT and security teams must figure out how to support each app. They may choose to build point-to-point integrations or they can rely on security tool vendors to offer connections to a portion of their supported SaaS apps. In each case, teams struggle to scale these integrations for every application. AWS AppFabric helps address these challenges. It quickly connects multiple SaaS applications for enhanced security and improved productivity. AWS AppFabric supports 19 different SaaS applications and security tools including Amazon Security Lake, Slack, Atlassian Jira suite, Zoom, Logz.io, and Splunk, with more coming soon. These applications choose to integrate with AppFabric so their customers can benefit from capabilities like fully-managed integrations, normalized SaaS audit logs, and more. Additionally, AppFabric creates co-marketing opportunities for applications integrated with the service.

An application can choose to integrate with AWS AppFabric as a data source, data destination, or both. Typical examples of data sources are productivity and functional SaaS applications like Identity Providers and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. Data destinations are security, analytics, or search tools used to analyze audit logs.
