AWS for Industries

Discover how to build smarter machines with AWS at Hannover Messe-USA

Uncover why cloud is the foundation of smart manufacturing

Launching a smart, connected product or machine can be a challenge. You have to build applications that can use data from sensors and scale. You need visibility into how people are using your products and machines. And you need to ensure quality is topnotch.

Imagine a company that manufactures bread or cookie machines. Imagine that they need an IT infrastructure that can handle the constant stream of data coming in and going out to the machines. They also need to scale with minimal effort, so when they sell 1000 machines, they can handle the rapidly expanding data processing needs. They want to manage all that data easily, so what should they do?

It starts with smart manufacturing—achieved through cloud-based technologies that simplify digital transformation. Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technology can enable the innovation and agility manufacturers need to generate additional revenue streams and enhance their customer’s experience. Using AWS IoT, Machine Learning, and Analytics services, manufacturers can innovate their intelligent offerings by collecting, storing, analyzing and acting on product and machine data.

Realize the future of manufacturing

At Hannover Messe-USA (co-located with the International Manufacturing Technology Show), AWS will demonstrate how using AWS cloud services can help you develop differentiated smart products, machines, and services that enhance your customer experience with responsive applications. From September 12-17, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois, Hannover Messe-USA organizers expect manufacturers and machine builders from across the globe to discover the latest innovations in digital and traditional manufacturing. If you are still looking for a discounted pass to attend to expo hall, check out our event landing page here to get your code.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) will have a booth in the McCormick Center, East Building, Level 3, Booth 134764, where we will showcase how the cloud, together with our extensive partner network can help simplify industrial digital transformation.  Stop by our booth to see why AWS is the innovation partner of choice for leading industrial companies with the broadest and deepest set of industrial cloud services and solutions.

Talk to our AWS experts at kiosks and demos to learn how the cloud and AWS partner offerings help industrial companies with Engineering & Design, Smart Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and Smart Products & Services to improve efficiency, lower costs, and increase revenue. Speak with our partners in the booth like Siemens, SKF, GE Digital and more to learn how they can ease your Industry 4.0 transformation, speed time to results, and reduce project risk.

Explore AWS innovative technology

Don’t miss the interactive demos in the booth. We have an IoT device wall that showcases partner devices that simplify data connectivity and speed industrial digital transformation along with an Industrial IoT machine, demonstrating how the cloud can help connect and optimize industrial machinery. See how Computer Vision and Machine Learning come together to drive preventive maintenance and monitor product quality.  If you have questions about how the cloud can help in your facility, spend time with our experts at the Manufacturing Reference Architecture wall where we can describe how and where key AWS services like AWS IoT TwinMaker, Amazon Monitron, and more can solve your business needs.

Our in-booth theatre will showcase more than 40 sessions throughout the week presented by AWS experts, AWS Partners, and customers. Featured presentations include ChalkTalk sessions led by AWS experts at 3 pm Monday through Wednesday. These sessions dive deep into smart manufacturing, quality management, and industrial automation allowing you to ask more technical questions. Drop in for these bite-sized presentations to learn about new topics, ask questions, and network with peers. See the full schedule posted on the landing page and around the AWS booth each day.

We also have two speaking sessions at the event. Stop by the Hannover Messe Solutions Theater (East building, Level 3, Booth 134068) on Tuesday, September 13th at 12:30 to hear Doug Bellin, the AWS Smart Manufacturing Lead. Doug will discuss challenges industrial companies face in their digitalization journey and how the cloud can help address these challenges. Sign up for the AWS Supply Chain Management session on Tuesday, September 13th at 10 am in Room W196-B. Kimberly Hagerty, the AWS Americas Supply Chain & Manufacturing Lead, will talk about Amazon and AWS’s supply chain and logistics strategy and provide guidance on how AWS can support the operation and forecasting of a digital supply chain.

Stop by our booth, speak with our experts, and see how AWS can help your organization build smarter products and machines that enhance customer experience, improve retention, and build new revenue streams.
