As the Python Software Foundation’s new security sponsor, AWS is providing funding to the PSF to hire a full-time safety and security engineer dedicated to improving the security posture of the Python Package Index (PyPI).

AWS Libcrypto for Rust (aws-lc-rs) is an open source cryptographic library for Rust software developers with FIPS cryptographic requirements.

Amazon is excited to open source a key technology that powers EventBridge as Event Ruler under the Apache 2.0 license. Event Ruler is a Java library that allows you to build applications that can match any number of rules against events at several hundred thousand events per second.
