Jussi leads Varjo's worldwide brand and product marketing as Chief Brand Officer. Since joining the Varjo as one of the first employees, he has helped to guide Varjo's products, digital presence, industry collaborations, creative advertising, PR, events, and other customer-facing communications. Prior to Varjo, Jussi has extensive creative leadership experience at the intersection of marketing, R&D, and design from global technology brands like Nokia and Rovio. He has worked and lived in Japan, South Korea and China and serves as an advisor for multiple Finnish deep technology startups and VC's. Jussi holds a master of science degree from the Aalto University in Helsinki and learned the art and science of technology from the early 90's PC Demoscene.

Most of us are familiar with how virtual reality (VR) can transport us to a make-believe realm. But how can it help us tangibly improve our physical world? For the past six years, the Helsinki-based VR/extended reality (XR) startup Varjo has been creating professional hardware, software, and services to help product designers develop consumer electronics that don’t yet exist.
