Check out episode 5 for more machine learning fun on Twitch
Last week marked the fourth episode of AWS Power Hour: Machine Learning series, but if you’re still catching up, it’s not too late to catch the previous episodes via the recorded streams! And make sure you join us for episode 5 this Thursday, August 20 at 4 p.m. PST on Twitch.
What’s on deck this week
Our hosts will welcome Ben Snively, AWS Principle Solution Architect in Data Science, and we’ll spend the episode digging into Amazon Kendra, a highly accurate and easy to use enterprise search service that’s powered by machine learning (ML). We’ll start out with a demo (hint: Kirsten’s favorite subject will make an appearance!) and then explore key features. Even better, Ben will share a demo of CORD-19 Search, an ML-powered solution developed by AWS to help researchers quickly and easily use natural language questions to search the fast-growing body of coronavirus literature to efficiently find relevant and up-to-date information.
What is AWS Power Hour: Machine Learning?
AWS Power Hour: Machine Learning is a weekly, live-streamed program that airs at 4 p.m. PST every Thursday for seven weeks. Each show will feature the AWS hosts and a special guest as they demonstrate how to build apps with AI Services from AWS. Designed for developers without prior ML experience, the show will help you learn to build apps that showcase natural language, speech recognition, and other personalized recommendations. The show provides in-depth technical education in a fun and interactive environment.
