Sign in or sign up using Builder ID on builder.aws.com

2. Claim your alias

Pick your Builder Center alias when prompted—this automatically creates your personalized URL and QR code.

3. Complete your profile

Start on builder.aws.com/profile—add more details about yourself, including a profile photo, short bio, and links to your social accounts.

Frequently asked questions

    If you sign into AWS using our new experience, your AWS Builder ID is your sign-in credential for your AWS account. It allows you to access AWS tools and services that support the new experience and replaces root, IAM Identity Center, or IAM users as a credential for accessing your AWS resources. You can use your AWS Builder ID to obtain AWS IAM credentials for the AWS CLI, AWS SDKs, or AWS Toolkit. Your AWS Builder ID is also the resource container with your contact and payment information for all your projects.
