Julien Grouès, Country Manager, AWS France
Currently General Manager for AWS in France, Julien Groues is responsible for AWS local strategy. In his role, he is working closely with French businesses to understand how they can take benefits of the AWS Cloud technology to innovate, stimulate their business and better serve their own customers. He also leads the AWS initiatives in France to contribute to the country’s digitalization by engaging with French organizations, from enterprises to startups.
Prior to joining Amazon, Julien launched C3 in Europe, a member of the CNBC top 50 disruptor list company which was amid the 20 on the annual Forbes Cloud 100. He was for the last five years its SVP EMEA. During his career in IT, he also spent 5 years at Oracle where he was in charge of global sales in the Utility Global Business Unit after Oracle acquired LODESTAR where Julien was Head of EMEA.
Julien earned an M.B.A. from the Simon School of Rochester in the US, B.A. in European Business Administration in the UK, and a diploma in European Business Studies in France.
Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec, VP, Block and Object Storage, AWS
Mai-Lan Tomsen Bukovec is the global Vice President for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Block and Object Storage services, which include Elastic Block Storage (EBS), Simple Storage Service (S3), and Amazon Glacier. Mai-Lan has been an engineering and product leader of AWS storage and compute services since 2010. Prior to joining Amazon, Mai-Lan spent over ten years in engineering and product leadership roles at Microsoft, as well as three years in early stage startups. She has served as a Forestry volunteer in the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa.
Mai-Lan lives in Seattle with her husband and three boys. When she is not working on Amazon cloud services and spending time with her family, Mai-Lan trains as a recreational boxer. She also holds a green glove ranking in the martial art Savate.
Yves Le Gélard, EVP, CDO & Group CIO, ENGIE
Yves Le Gélard has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Digital Officer, and Group Chief Information Officer of ENGIE since 2016.
Before joining ENGIE, he was Senior VP, Services EMEA for SAP. Previously, he held senior roles at Fujitsu, most recently as Executive Vice-President of Fujitsu America, based in New York. Prior to that, he served in senior roles at Capgemini, as General Manager for Outsourcing; as Head of Global Sales; and as General Manager of the managed services division. Previously, he held various technical and sales roles at IBM before becoming Chief of staff to the CEO of IBM France.
Mr. Le Gélard holds a degree from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris.
Thomas Jacques, Group CTO, TF1
A 45-year-old father of two, Thomas Jacques holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris. He started his career in finance and business consulting, then joined the TF1 group in 2003, where he led innovation and digital technology teams, notably building TF1's first mobile apps and IPTV services, and launching TF1's tower company business "OneCast".
In 2010, he was appointed Head of Corporate Strategy of the TF1 group. Thomas left TF1 in 2012 to launch Google's Ad Tech business in EMEA as Head of Business Development, and ran Google AdExchange in EMEA from 2015 until 2018.
Thomas re-joined TF1 in October 2018 as Chief Technology Officer.
Florence Moreau, CTO & Co-Founder, Incepto Medical
With more than 15 years of experience in the field of medical software, Florence co-founded Incepto, a start-up to apply AI to medical imaging.
Florence graduated from CentraleSupélec (p2001) and ENS Cachan in applied mathematics and image processing, Florence joined the world of engineering for healthcare.
During 15 years at GE Healthcare, from Software Engineer to Software Director, she implemented innovative product strategies and led software teams in France, Hungary and India for web software development for radiology.
She then joined Echosens to develop strategy and cloud solutions focused on the needs of hepatologists.
In January 2018, she co-founded Incepto as CTO with Antoine Jomier on the business side, and Gaspard d'Assignies, radiologist. Incepto provides a platform that provides radiologists with artificial intelligence applications to help them diagnose diseases.
Incepto was founded to position every individual at the heart of decision making and innovation.
