Cyber Security Cloud accelerates expansion with AWS Global Passport

In 2018, CSC opened its US office in Los Angeles, marking a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion. Entering new markets presents growth opportunities along with unique challenges such as navigating regional regulations, meeting compliance standards, and aligning with local technical requirements.

To accelerate success and build strong momentum in the US market, CSC joined AWS Global Passport. This strategic move provided access to expert guidance, resources, and new customer connections to support rapid growth and long-term impact.

AWS Global Passport helps businesses reach new customers and accelerate entry into international markets. The program covers the full scope of AWS resources and AWS Partner programs to help participants better respond to strategic, operational, technical, and go-to-market challenges.

As part of the program, the CSC team participated in an in-person workshop with AWS experts. During the session, the group explored market intelligence on CSC’s target regions, and key technical, compliance, and go-to-market considerations, assigning different tasks to key personnel. Takashi Yoshimi, US Chief Operating Officer at Cyber Security Cloud Inc., says: “If I had to rate the workshop out of five? Definitely a five.” Yoshimi continues: “We truly value the market intelligence AWS provided—it gave us fresh insights into new focus areas and was incredibly impactful.” These insights were then used to formulate a plan outlining strategic next steps, priorities, and task ownership.

After the workshop, the AWS team shared a business report, technical framework, and compliance roadmap, as well as a joint go-to-market plan with the CSC team. A few weeks later, the group took part in a one-hour follow-up session to revise and assign owners to the recommended next steps outlined in the report. 

The AWS Global Passport program supported the CSC team with statistics and guidance they needed to expand their regional presence in the US and beyond. This included deep market intelligence on their target markets, as well as a roadmap to technical success and regulatory compliance. The company is now strongly positioned to accelerate results and begin generating revenue from new customers as quickly as possible.
