Reimagine business intelligence: Amazon QuickSight evolves to Amazon Quick Suite
The business intelligence (BI) landscape is undergoing a transformation. As customers strive to become more data-driven, and as AI reshapes how we interact with data in our daily lives, customers find themselves at a crucial intersection: they need to embrace AI’s potential to accelerate their businesses, yet must do so thoughtfully and securely. Many are grappling with how to meaningfully integrate AI into their work while making sure it adds real value. Traditional BI solutions that focus primarily on visualizing structured data and creating reports are no longer sufficient in this new era.
Customers face a three-fold challenge: they need solutions that can bridge the growing gaps between data discovery, analysis, and action; they need to use AI in ways that deliver tangible business outcomes; and they need these solutions to be accessible to users across their organization while maintaining enterprise security and governance. Many organizations struggle to find the right balance between powerful AI capabilities and practical, secure implementation that works with their existing data and processes.
Today, we’re excited to announce that Amazon QuickSight is evolving into Amazon Quick Suite, marking a significant leap forward in making comprehensive business insights readily available to everyone in your organization. This evolution marks an expansion of BI to deliver a unified experience where AI agents work alongside users to answer complex questions, conduct deep research, and automate routine tasks while maintaining the security, reliability, and governance that enterprises expect. Quick Suite represents our vision for how BI can be reimagined in the age of AI, helping organizations make better decisions faster and act on them.
Beyond the familiar BI capabilities (now called Quick Sight), Quick Suite introduces several AI-powered features:
- Quick Research – Delivers comprehensive, cited insights from both enterprise and public data sources in minutes
- Quick Flows – Helps users to create and share workflow automations using natural language
- Quick Automate – Handles complex, multi-step business processes
- Quick Index – A shared knowledge base of all your company documents and data
These capabilities are accessible through Quick chat, a natural language interface, and can be customized for specific teams through Quick spaces. This integrated experience means users can seamlessly move from analyzing data to conducting deep research and automating processes—all within the same application, and while maintaining enterprise-grade security and governance.
Why this evolution matters
As organizations face the three critical challenges we outlined (bridging data and action, using AI meaningfully, and maintaining security), Quick Suite provides a comprehensive solution that transforms how businesses work with data and AI:
- Unified intelligence across all data – Traditional BI solutions are limited to metrics and numbers, leaving valuable insights trapped in documents, emails, and enterprise applications. This creates a significant gap between data discovery and meaningful insights. Quick Suite bridges this gap by unifying access to data from all the sources you need to make decisions, including enterprise systems, databases and data lakes, team knowledge, and real-time web insights. Executives can now ask questions that span across financial databases, customer feedback emails, support tickets, and market research documents, and get complete answers in seconds. Data practitioners can create sophisticated visualizations and analysis that incorporate context from available sources, delivering richer, more actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Meaningful AI innovation – Organizations need AI that delivers tangible business outcomes, not just technological novelty. Quick Suite achieves this through powerful research, analysis, and automation agents. Quick Research capabilities synthesize information from internal data, public sources, and specialized datasets, delivering comprehensive, cited insights in hours instead of weeks. With Quick Flows, users can create AI-powered workflows using natural language, such as transforming meeting notes into action items, automating weekly reports with latest insights, or streamlining customer support processes. Users can quickly share these workflows, multiplying productivity gains across your organization.
- Secure and accessible natural language experience – Quick Suite democratizes AI access while maintaining enterprise-grade security and governance. A powerful chat interface makes these capabilities accessible through natural language conversation. Organizations can create custom AI agents tailored to specific needs, such as a troubleshooting assistant that handles technical queries or a policy guide that helps employees navigate internal procedures. These agents combine domain expertise with relevant data sources, making specialized knowledge accessible to everyone who needs it. Each agent can be customized with specific personas, data access, and behavior guidelines, providing consistent, compliant interactions across the organization.
What’s staying the same?
Although Quick Suite introduces powerful new capabilities, we’ve made sure your existing BI workflows remain the same. This evolution builds upon the foundation you trust, without disrupting your current operations.
Your entire QuickSight environment, including dashboards, datasets, and analyses, remains unchanged. All data connectivity, security controls, and user permissions continue unchanged. Your existing API integrations keep working as before, and no data migration is required. Importantly, existing compliance certifications and attestations, including SOC, HIPAA, ISO 27001, ISO 27019, ISO 27018, ISO 9001, GDPR, and FedRAMP, remain valid and in effect. Quick Suite will inherit existing compliance postures of QuickSight. We also want to emphasize the AWS commitment to data privacy and security. We do not use customer content to train our models, and we haven’t introduced any new model providers. Your data remains yours, with the same enterprise-grade security and governance controls you trust. This seamless transition means you can adopt new capabilities at your own pace while maintaining business continuity
Regional availability
Quick Suite’s rollout follows a phased approach to provide a smooth transition for all customers. Starting October 9, 2025, all QuickSight customers globally will see the new Quick Suite UI and branding. New capabilities are available in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Europe (Dublin), and Asia Pacific (Sydney). Customers in other AWS Regions will maintain access to existing BI functionality while seeing the new Quick Suite interface.
Navigating the new experience
The Quick Suite interface has been thoughtfully redesigned to maintain familiarity while introducing powerful new capabilities. In this section, we discuss some key changes for Pro users and Authors.
Quick chat is now prominently featured on the Quick Suite home page, providing immediate access to Quick Suite capabilities. The page also includes a new pin feature to add key visualizations from dashboards to your home page, and personalized recommendations and recently accessed items remain readily accessible. Note that although the core Reader ($3) experience remains unchanged, we’ve added the ability to pin important metrics to your home page, helping you keep track of what matters most to you.
Familiar BI features are now organized under Quick Sight in the navigation pane: My folders and Shared folders for organized content access, Dashboards, Stories (formerly Data Stories), Analyses, and Datasets. Favorites remain at the top level for quick access, global search is now located in the top left corner, and Quick Research, Quick Flows, Quick Automate, and Connections are accessible through dedicated sections in the navigation pane.
The following screenshots compare the previous QuickSight navigation pane to the enhanced Quick Suite navigation pane.

Complete control over feature adoption
We understand that organizations need precise control over AI feature adoption. Administrators can use custom permissions to enable or disable features at account, role, or user levels; maintain existing security policies while introducing new features; and apply controls consistently across multiple accounts through APIs.
Quick Suite gives you the flexibility to manage adoption at your own pace—you can enable all features immediately or gradually introduce them to different user groups.
Embedded analytics
If you use BI embedding capabilities, your core functionality remains unchanged. Embedding features, APIs, and integrations continue to work as before, requiring no changes to your existing implementations. You will notice some visual updates to align with Quick Suite, including the updated “Powered by Amazon Quick Suite” footer, the color scheme changing from blue to purple, and the Quick Suite logo appearing in standard placements.
If you use brand customization features, your custom styling will continue to override the product’s default appearance. If you prefer to maintain the current blue color scheme for Quick Sight application elements, you can preserve it by implementing brand customization configured at the account level or theme customization applied during publish events or dynamically through embedding calls using our SDK. This makes sure your embedded analytics continue to provide a consistent experience for your end-users.
