Amazon FSx for Windows File Server provides a fully managed native Windows file system with the features and performance optimized for Windows-based business applications. Amazon EFS and Amazon FSx for Windows File Server enable customers to migrate their Linux and Windows-based applications to AWS using fully managed shared file systems with the features, compatibility, performance, and security that these applications rely on.
AWS offers reliable, persistent block storage ideal for your business-critical applications. Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) is an easy to use, high performance block storage service designed for both throughput and transaction intensive workloads with direct access from a single Amazon EC2 instance. Choose from five different volume types to achieve single digit-millisecond latency for your high performance database workloads or gigabyte throughput for large, sequential workloads. With Amazon EBS, you can scale petabytes of data and/or change volume types without disrupting your applications, so you have cost-effective storage when you need it.
