Pricing overview

With AWS re:Post Private, you only pay for what you use. You are charged based on the number of users and the selected plan.

AWS re:Post Private is available in the following AWS Regions:

  • US West (Oregon)
  • US East (N. Virginia)
  • Europe (Frankfurt)
  • Europe (Ireland)
  • Asia Pacific (Sydney)
  • Asia Pacific (Singapore)
  • Canada (Central)

    • AWS re:Post Private offers two pricing plans, the AWS Free Tier and the Standard Tier.

  • The Free Tier provides customers with the ability to explore and try out Standard Tier capabilities for 6 months. There is no limit on the amount of users in the Free Tier. Content storage is limited to 10 GB, and upon reaching the storage limit, the Free Tier plan will be converted to the paid Standard Tier.
  • The Standard Tier is for small, medium, and large organizations with no limit on the number of users. The Standard Tier is priced at $12 per user per month. Content storage is limited to 100 GB. Upon reaching the storage limit, Standard Tier customers can contact AWS to request additional content storage. 

    • You can get started with re:Post Private for free for 6 months, and it includes full capabilities of the Standard Tier with a content storage limit up to 10 GB.

    The following are re:Post Private Standard Tier features included with every account:

  • Manage employees’ access to the re:Post Private service using Active Directory/single sign-on authentication configured through AWS IAM Identity Center.
  • Customize the re:Post Private user interface to align with your organization’s branding requirements.
  • Personalize access to a curated catalog of training and technical content from AWS by selecting your cloud use cases.
  • Set up your organization-specific tags to organize content.
  • Share knowledge in six languages: English, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
  • Build a knowledge base with questions and answers and articles.
  • Group content to create learning paths or curated content bundles around a use case or customer problem.
  • Streamline collaboration and knowledge sharing with the AWS account team members.
  • Streamline engagement with AWS Support by bringing context from your discussions into a support case and converting support case correspondence into a knowledge base.
  • Search AWS public content on re:Post and contextualize the discussion by creating a private discussion thread.
  • Create private community groups around AWS technologies supporting career growth, advancement, and retention by providing your employees with a network.
  • Drive community engagement and recognition through reputation points, badges, and a leaderboard.
  • Centralize knowledge around AWS technologies by ingesting your existing knowledge base.
  • Access usage and adoption metrics.

    Example 1: AWS re:Post Private Standard Tier
    You are an AWS account administrator for your organization and subscribe to the re:Post Private Standard Tier. You add 50 users to Standard Tier subscriptions. The 50 users have access to re:Post Private and create their re:Post Private account. You will be charged for the entire month per user at the $12/month fee for 50 users. You will receive the bill on the 1 st of the next month.

    Price: $12 per user (per month)
    Cost calculations: $12/month * 50 users
    Total cost: $600

    Example 2: AWS re:Post Private Standard Tier
    You are an AWS account administrator for your organization and subscribe to the re:Post Private Standard Tier. You grant access to 250 users for the Standard Tier by including Active Directory to the re:Post Private. The 250 users create their re:Post Private account. You will be charged for the entire month per user at the $12/month fee for 250 users. You will receive the bill on the 1 st of the next month.
