Amazon Kendra is a highly accurate and easy to use enterprise search service powered by machine learning. Starting today, AWS customers can use AWS PrivateLink to access Amazon Kendra from their Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) without using public IPs or requiring the traffic to traverse the Internet. AWS PrivateLink provides secure connectivity between VPCs and AWS services, without ever leaving the Amazon network.
Using AWS PrivateLink, you can access Amazon Kendra easily by keeping your network traffic within the Amazon network, while significantly simplifying your internal network architecture. You no longer need to use an Internet Gateway, Network Address Translation (NAT) devices, or firewall proxies to connect to Amazon Kendra.
You can use enterprise search to intuitively search unstructured data using natural language to efficiently find the most relevant answers to questions, giving users an experience that is close to asking a human expert.
