AWS Launch Wizard now enables SQL Server Always on deployments in Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) and Middle East (Bahrain) regions
AWS Launch Wizard now allows customers to more easily deploy SQL Server Always On workloads in two new AWS Regions: Asia Pacific (Hong Kong) and Middle East (Bahrain). AWS Launch Wizard offers a guided way to size, configure, and deploy AWS resources for SQL Always On applications with an easy to use wizard. It provides resource recommendations and is integrated with AWS compute, storage, management, logging, monitoring, and security services to orchestrate SQL Server deployments taking AWS Best Practices into consideration. AWS Launch Wizard frees up resources from undifferentiated infrastructure build activities so AWS customers can focus their resources on activities with higher added-value.
With this release, you can now deploy Microsoft SQL Server Always On applications using AWS Launch Wizard in 18 AWS Regions including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), EU (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris and Stockholm), South America (Sao Paulo), US West (N. California, Oregon), Canada (Central), Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney), and Middle East (Bahrain) AWS Regions. AWS Launch Wizard is also available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) and AWS GovCloud (US-East) Regions.
