AWS Announcing Windows Server version 20H2 AMIs for Amazon EC2
Today we are announcing the availability of License Included (LI) Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for Windows Server version 20H2 for Amazon EC2, providing customers with an easy and flexible way to get up and running with the latest version of Windows Server Semi-Annual Channel release. Windows Server 20H2 provides the latest fixes and performance enhancements for Windows Server.
By running Windows Server versions 20H2 on Amazon EC2, customers can combine the scale, performance, and elasticity of AWS with the latest Semi-Annual Channel release version of Windows Server. Windows Server 20H2 License Included (LI) AMIs are available in all AWS commercial, AWS China, and AWS GovCloud (US) regions, and can be launched directly from the Amazon EC2 console. The AMIs are available in two versions – a default configured base version and a container version with all the relevant container features installed.
