Rappi on AWS
Founded in 2015, Rappi is Colombia’s first tech startup to be valued at over $5.2 billion. It offers on-demand, last-mile delivery for almost anything—from food and clothing to insurance and financial services—in nine Latin American countries.
Overview
From a $2M seed idea in 2015 to a $5.2B "delivery of everything" powerhouse across nine Latin American countries, Rappi's meteoric rise demanded more than a monolithic architecture could offer. To fuel its microservices transformation and keep pace with on-demand innovation, Rappi turned to AWS — the cloud partner powering its next chapter.
Rappi and AWS cloud journey

With ~200 developers and a presence in 5 Latin American countries, Rappi relies on AWS services like Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, and Amazon ECS to scale operations and drive growth.
