The startup created Smart+ – a cloud-based robot management platform which leverages AWS to enhance the intelligence and concierge capabilities of their robots – and REMI – a groundbreaking system equipping their robots with the power of large language models, seamlessly integrated using Amazon Bedrock API, while utilizing services such as Amazon SageMaker, Amazon EKS and Amazon Polly to further enhance the overall functionality of their robots.
REMI, powered by AWS, represents a significant leap forward in the capabilities of KABAM Robotics' robots and the services provided to their customers.
With AWS, KABAM Robotics is staying at the forefront of the service robotics industry, delivering innovative solutions that have a real and positive impact on customers.
Amazon Bedrock enabled us to experiment quickly with different large language models to find the right fit. With Amazon SageMaker, we were able to deploy open source model Llava with ease, at a tenth of the cost of maintaining our hardware and productizing the models.
