- 19:05 - 19:30 Building a Real-time Market Data Streaming Platform with AWS - Akis Papaditsas
Every morning when the market opens, Monex’s real-time market data platform faces a predictable but intense traffic surge—one that ebbs by the evening. To meet these daily spikes and the more unpredictable swings driven by market volatility, our team at Monex Securities engineered a real-time data streaming platform purpose-built for the fast-paced demands of financial services. In this talk, we’ll share how we designed a fan-out architecture on AWS, paired with dynamic scaling, to ensure critical market data is delivered with minimal latency—even under extreme load. We’ll walk through the architectural decisions that enable low-latency delivery, fault tolerance, and operational resilience, and discuss how we balance performance with reliability in a highly regulated, time-sensitive domain.
- 19:35 - 20:00 Scaling Infrastructure with AWS - Tony Valderrama
During Super Bowl LIX (2025), FOX / Tubi partnered with Momento to process 2M viewer quality events per second from 15M devices simultaneously streaming the game, driving real-time operational decisions about content delivery, network optimization, and issue resolution. We'll pop open the hood to explore some of the infrastructure techniques employed by Momento Accelerator to transform more than 20B critical data points into live metrics with zero errors.
- 20:05 - 20:30 Open Networking
An opportunity to discuss the presentations and network with other participants.
