The 2025 AWS Generative AI Accelerator: 40 startups shooting for the stars

Selected visionary startups from around the world have landed a space on the program designed to propel their real-world value with generative AI.

AWS is proud to announce the 40 startups chosen for the 2025 cohort of the AWS Generative Artificial Intelligence Accelerator—a program backing those who are pushing the boundaries of technology. Participants will receive resources to scale their impact, including up to $1 million USD in AWS credits, personalized mentorship, and access to a curated support network.

Kicking off in-person on October 14 in Seattle, the comprehensive eight-week program is designed to help cohort startups turn groundbreaking ideas into impactful solutions. Each pioneering company will be equipped to achieve measurable outcomes faster, with the support of industry leaders and a focused, results-driven environment. Culminating with the final week at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas in December, the startups will also gain exclusive networking opportunities to help boost brand visibility, build industry connections, and gain new customers.

A launchpad for international AI innovation

Selected from a highly competitive pool of thousands of global applications, the diverse cohort spans startups from Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. Each business showcased a blend of stand-out ideas, technical readiness, and a strong interview performance to secure their space as a top applicant.

To help them move fast and scale AI solutions, the cohort will get access to go-to-market and technical expertise from a curated network of mentors. This includes AWS domain experts, executive leaders, and partners from top AI companies who will tailor guidance to their specific industry and technical needs.

Hands-on specialist guidance will help them achieve advanced model training, system optimization, and product launch readiness—all while unlocking key market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and scaled distribution. Participants will emerge from the program with refined strategies and optimized technologies to take them forward.

Each of these startups has been recognized for pushing the boundaries of generative AI, including fine-tuning open-source models, pre-training foundation models, or providing critical services in the generative AI tech stack.
