Activate Founders - $1,000 USD AWS Credits*

The Activate Founders package is for startups founded in the past 10 years, who are not yet associated with an Activate Provider and are new to AWS Activate Credits. You must be self-funded or pre-Series B (most recent funding round must be within the last 12 months, if applicable) and have a fully functioning company website.

Activate Portfolio - Up to $100,000 USD AWS Credits*

This package is for startups founded in the past 10 years who are already associated with an Activate Provider, have an Organizational ID and have not previously received AWS Activate Credits of equal or greater value. You must be self-funded or pre-Series B (most recent funding round must be within the last 12 months, if applicable) and have a fully functioning company website.

Accelerate and offset the costs of Al development

AWS Activate Credits are redeemable on third-party foundation models in Amazon Bedrock. This allows you to test and experiment with high-performing models from leading providers including Amazon, Al21 Labs, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta, Mistral Al, and Stability Al.

How to apply for AWS Activate Credits

Step 1: Create a personal AWS Builder ID using a professional email address

Already done? Simply log in. Once verified, you will be directed to complete your AWS Activate profile.

Step 2: Choose an AWS Activate package

The AWS Activate Founders package offers $1,000 in credits for self-funded startups, while the Portfolio package provides up to $100,000 for startups affiliated with AWS Activate Providers. Both require companies to be pre-Series B and under 10 years old.

Step 3: Provide additional details about your startup

To help us determine your eligibility, we require accurate information about your startup, such as product information and funding details. Please be aware, providing inaccurate information can result in your application being denied.

Step 4: Link your AWS account and submit your application

Create a new AWS account or link an existing account to your AWS Builder ID. Once that's done, submit your application. We will notify you of your application status within 7-10 business days. You can also track your application on the Credit Application Status page.
