The challenge with online meetings is that most traditional applications are frustrating and difficult to use, and they often result in inefficient meetings. They require hard to remember PINs to join, and it is difficult to tell who is running late and who is making background noise. What’s more, screen sharing requires too many steps, or requires a meeting host to step in to select who can share their screen.

In addition, traditional applications only focus on one type of communication, such as video conferencing or audio conferencing. The result is that people need to use several different tools to communicate.

Finally, many of these tools weren’t designed for mobile devices. There communications are not kept in sync, and it's hard to keep up in an increasingly mobile environment. 

Effective online meeting applications, should be easy and intuitive to use, on any device. Meetings should be simple to join, easy to control, and easy for attendees to participate. And, attendees should be able to share their screens at any time during the meeting.
