Amazon Rekognition is a deep learning-based computer vision service that makes it easy to add image and video analysis to your applications. Amazon Rekognition Image and Video are now AWS HIPAA Eligible Services.
If you have a Business Associate Addendum (BAA) in place with AWS, you can now use Amazon Rekognition to process images or videos containing protected health information (PHI). If you do not have a BAA in place with AWS, or have any other questions about running HIPAA-regulated workloads on AWS, please contact us through AWS Support. You can also refer to this page to learn more about HIPAA compliance on AWS.
