AWS RoboMaker, a service that makes it easy to develop, simulate, and deploy intelligent robotics applications at scale, is now available in the Asia Pacific (Tokyo) region. AWS RoboMaker extends the most widely used open-source robotics software framework, Robot Operating System (ROS), with connectivity to cloud service. Now you can build highly-available applications for your APAC-based simulations and deployments.
AWS RoboMaker provides a robotics development environment for application development, a robotics simulation service to accelerate application testing, and a robotics fleet management service for remote application deployment, update, and management. Features include AWS machine learning services, monitoring services, and analytics services that enable a robot to stream data, navigate, communicate, comprehend, and learn. To get started, one can explore the RoboMaker webpage or run a sample simulation job in the RoboMaker console.
AWS RoboMaker is available in the US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), EU (Ireland) and, now, Asia Pacific (Tokyo) regions. The pricing for the new region can be found on the AWS RoboMaker pricing page.
