Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a fast, scalable, highly available, and fully managed document database service that supports MongoDB workloads.

AWS SOC (System and Organization Controls) reports are independent third-party examination reports that demonstrate how AWS achieves key compliance controls and objectives. SOC reporting provides customers and users with an independent assessment of AWS' control environment relevant to system security, availability, and confidentiality.

Amazon DocumentDB is now SOC 1, 2, and 3 compliant, allowing you to get deep insight into the security processes and controls that protect customer data. These reports are often leveraged by diverse industries, such as technology, healthcare, banking and financial services, and used for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) efforts.

Amazon DocumentDB was designed to meet the highest security standards and to make it easy for you to verify our security and meet your own regulatory and compliance obligations. Amazon DocumentDB has been assessed to comply with PCI DSS, ISO 9001, 27001, 27017, and 27018, SOC 1, 2, and 3, in addition to being HIPAA eligible.
