Today’s digital marketing teams are stretched thin, with a majority of marketers saying they’re under pressure to create and deliver content more quickly. They struggle under endless operational tasks that leave little room for real customer experience innovation. As the demand for dynamic, personalized content surges across channels and markets, traditional content workflows buckle, preventing marketers from reaching their full potential.
Gradial, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner, helps companies address these challenges by automating their content supply chain, allowing marketing teams to focus on strategy and content quality.
In this post, we will look at how Gradial is pioneering the future of content operations with generative AI powered by the fast, intelligent, and cost-effective, Amazon Nova foundation models.
Growing Content Management Challenge
85% of marketers report intense pressure to deliver content faster, yet traditional workflows hold them back. As customer demands accelerate and digital channels multiply, marketing organizations can’t keep pace using manual processes and siloed systems.

Even with pressure to deliver content faster, a complex process slows down content delivery to channels. These process delays are worse at large enterprises, leading to Service Level Agreement (SLA) times of days or weeks for new webpages and even small content updates to websites. The traditional approach of siloed teams and multiple handoffs creates bottlenecks that significantly impact time to market for content updates. Figure 2 shows the current content supply chain showing systems of record and the back and forths between different teams necessary to generate production-ready content.

Accelerating Personalization at Scale
Generative AI promises faster content creation, but without the right operational tools, it can overwhelm existing workflows, creating bottlenecks rather than breakthroughs. Gradial’s AI agents directly address this challenge by automating complex, multi-step content execution tasks that are traditionally handled manually.
Gradial’s agents are built on the speed, cost-effectiveness, and agentic capabilities of Amazon Nova’s understanding models to deliver reliable and performant content operations for customers. As an early Amazon Nova customer, Gradial integrated AWS’s enterprise-grade foundational models directly into its AI-driven platform, delivering unprecedented content velocity and operational efficiency. Figure 3 shows how Gradial orchestrates the work to solve the content supply chain problems.

Gradial’s agentic AI platform is used by several of the largest enterprises in the world across Technology/Telecom, Healthcare/Pharma, Commerce, Financial Services, and Automotive. They power many agentic marketing capabilities today including:
- Quickly and accurately migrating content from legacy platforms or design systems, dramatically speeding up digital transformation initiatives.
- Instantly generating first-draft content aligned with brand guidelines and design frameworks, significantly shortening review and approval cycles.
- Automating repetitive, operationally heavy tasks such as content updates, QA checks, and asset management, allowing teams to dedicate more resources to personalization and customer experience optimization.
Why Amazon Nova?
Amazon Nova foundation models deliver frontier intelligence and industry-leading price-performance. Through Amazon Bedrock, businesses can seamlessly build and scale generative AI applications with Amazon Nova that are safe, reliable, and cost-effective. The Amazon Nova model family offers:
- Understanding models: Amazon Nova Micro, Amazon Nova Lite, Amazon Nova Pro, and Amazon Nova Premier
- Creative models: Amazon Nova Canvas, Amazon Nova Reel
- Speech-to-speech model: Amazon Nova Sonic
- Web browser automation model: Amazon Nova Act
With built-in enterprise grade security and compliance, the Amazon Nova foundation models meet rigorous industry standards, enabling organizations across regulated sectors to confidently leverage advanced AI capabilities.
Gradial provides its whole solution on both Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Nova, favoring Amazon Nova for its “Automate” and “Grow” use case categories currently, applying them to recurring authoring and content improvement.
Gradial chose Amazon Nova because of its lower cost, higher flexibility and performance when benchmarked to comparable models. The company leverages a unified single API that connects Amazon Nova Micro, Amazon Nova Lite, Amazon Nova Act, Amazon Nova Pro, and Amazon Nova Premier to support diverse multimodal tasks, including text, image, video understanding, and generation. This versatility allows Gradial to seamlessly handle complex content operations at scale. Figure 4 shows the different Gradial agents and their associated use cases.

Gradial found that Amazon Nova Pro image recognition was faster and lower in cost for their Figma to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) pipeline compared to alternatives delivering similar quality. The team now uses Amazon Nova Pro in production for this content pipeline.
Gradial has expanded to using Amazon Nova to power the creation and categorization of web content during webpage creation AI tasks (“Automate” Agent). When creating a typical webpage, hundreds of records need to be created quickly in the content management system and categorized according to brand guidelines.
Amazon Nova offers similar performance on these tasks, but at a lower cost and faster rate. Gradial, having been an early beta user of Amazon Nova Act, intends to employ Amazon Nova Act to enable “synthetic customer” agents (“Grow” Agent), who will leverage browser tools to test and optimize websites.
Conclusion: A New Era for Marketing Teams
Together, Gradial and Amazon Nova represent a fundamental shift in how digital marketing teams operate, transforming overwhelmed teams into strategic innovators who can deliver personalized experiences at scale. By streamlining the content supply chain and automating the operational backbone, Gradial and AWS empower marketers to reclaim their creative bandwidth and focus on delivering meaningful customer interactions.
