AWS Week in Review – September 16, 2013

Let’s take a quick look at what happened in AWS-land last week:

Monday, September 16	The AWS Java Development Blog posted a Code Snippet to Create a DynamoDB Table. The AWS Security Blog talked about Using Roles to Distribute Non-AWS Credentials to EC2 Instances.
Tuesday, September 17	We announced some Updates to the AWS Mobile Console. We announced Additional VPC Support and New Templates for AWS CloudFormation.
Wednesday, September 18	We introduced CNAME Wildcard Support for Amazon CloudFront. The AWS .Net Developer Blog posted a .Net Application Development Roundup. We updated the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) with Additional Control Over Objects Stored in Amazon S3.
Thursday, September 19	We announced that Auto Scaling and CloudFormation now support Automatic Assignment of Public IP Addresses inside of a VPC. We published a pair of Getting Started Videos for the AWS Simple Monthly Calculator.
Friday, September 20	The AWS Java Development Blog talked about Saving Money With EC2 Reserved Instances. This week AWS Marketplace added new products including Citrix XenMobile, Nextpoint, AppZero, EZAutoScaling, Gladinet and Sinefa.
